  • The Leg Clinic - well, what can I say - apart from that I wish I had known about Jane McCallum many moons ago.
  • I now can wear a skirt or even a dress again (which is not down to my ankles) with pride thanks to Jane. I never thought it possible.
  • I am a lady of 52 years of age and can honestly say that for the last 12 years or so have been so embarrassed and made to feel ashamed of my thread veins that I had almost given up all hope. I had for many years been repeatedly told that that was it - there was nothing that could be done - until I was referred to Jane that is!

Treatment of Thread Veins

The treatment is called sclerotherapy. It is a simple, straightforward procedure, giving excellent results. It involves a series of small injections with a tiny needle of a 'sclerosant' solution to the affected areas. The solution sets up an irritation in the vein wall, which, on compression of the vein, causes it to close and therefore fade. It is a safe and well-established practice.

This treatment is not available on The National Health Service.
