Testimonials

A selection of comments received by The Leg Clinic:

  • The Leg Clinic - well, what can I say - apart from that I wish I had known about Jane McCallum many moons ago.
  • Feeling the way I did and being conscious of how ugly the thread veins looked is a thing of the past for me now.
  • I look forward to swimming again, going to the gym and summers when I can wear shorts or even a swim suit without any horrible remarks being made!

Treatment of Thread Veins

Sclerotherapy

The treatment is called sclerotherapy. It is a simple, straightforward procedure, giving excellent results. It involves a series of small injections with a tiny needle of a 'sclerosant' solution to the affected areas. The solution sets up an irritation in the vein wall, which, on compression of the vein, causes it to close and therefore fade. It is a safe and well-established practice.
